Applications are invited from candidate’s resident of respective districts for the recruitment of Senior Station Assistant (SSA) Equivalent Scale No. 9 and Police Station Assistant (PSA) Equivalent Scale No. 7 in various districts of Punjab Police along with the prevailing allowances of Govt. Wanted Candidates must meet the minimum standard.

Eligibility for Senior Station Assistant SSA

Age Limit:-

 The age limit for these posts is 18 to 25 years however relaxation in age will be given as per the policy of Punjab Government Residence Candidates must be resident of respective districts and must have ID card.

 Education and experience

 Should be Intermediate in Computer Science ICS from a recognized board with three years experience in relevant field.

Eligibility for Police Station Assistant PSA

Age Limit:-

 The age limit for Police Station Assistant PSA is 18 to 25 years however relaxation in age will be given as per the policy of Punjab Government Residence Candidates must be resident of respective districts and must have ID card.

 Education and experience

 Should be Intermediate in Computer Science ICS from a recognized board with Computer Diploma from recognized Institute. Should be experience in MS Office and Computer Typing.

Instructions for Candidates:-

  •  Interested candidates can download the application form from the official website of Punjab Police and submit the completed form along with their attested credentials to the respective district police line.
  • Entry test fee of Rs.2 thousand has to be submitted along with the application.
  • Applications can be submitted upto 25 March 2020 after publication of advertisement No application will be entertained after the due date.
  • After verification of documents of all the candidates, the list of successful candidates will be displayed in the District Police Line. Apart from this, they will be uploaded on the Punjab Police website
  • 15% quota for women, 5% quota for minority candidates and 3% quota for persons with disabilities have been reserved for these posts.
  • Candidates belonging to district Murree, Talagang, Kot addu, Wazirabad can submit application only from district police line of their erstwhile districts Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Muzaffargarh and Gujranwala.
  • Police Station Assistant Candidates will be initially conducted written test and qualified candidates will be conducted skill test (Typing test) in the next stage out of which qualified candidates will be called for interview in the ratio of three to one skill test. And a notice will be posted on the concerned police lines about the place of interview.
  • Candidates should prepare well for typing test by downloading software from internet to check their typing speed as it will be necessary to clear typing test in English and Urdu.
  • All candidates have to give an affidavit on stamp paper that they are not involved in any kind of FIR or any case. Action will be taken.
  • The candidate will not be reimbursed for any expenses incurred during the various stages of recruitment.
  • At the time of final selection, the candidates will undergo a medical examination from the provincial authorized hospital, failing which the candidate will be declared ineligible.
  • The department reserves the right to modify or cancel the advertisement in part and the department reserves the right to reject any candidate without assigning any reason.
